Transitional

The Graduate Medical Education (GME) Transitional program is structured to give residents broad exposure to the basic areas of medicine to provide fundamental skills training. Transitional residents rotate through internal medicine, pediatrics, surgery, emergency medicine, neurology or psychiatry, and specialties of the resident's choice. This one-year residency is designed for medical school graduates who have chosen a specialty that requires a general residency internship as a prerequisite.

Transitional Program Curriculum

The Transitional Year is on a 13 - block schedule, beginning June 25 and ending June 24, in 4-week blocks.
